Terms of Service
In short: Link Council AI lets you put one question to several AI models at once and keep the decisions that come out of it. Their answers are generated by AI and can be wrong — they are input for your own judgment, not professional advice. What you write stays yours. Use the service lawfully and do not try to break it. If you use it as a consumer in the EU, you keep every right your own country's law gives you.
1. About these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are the agreement between you and the operator of Link Council AI ("we", "us"):
The operator of this deployment has not published its name, postal address and contact email yet. Do not create an account here until it has.
You accept these Terms when you create an account. How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which is information for you rather than part of what you agree to.
2. The service
Link Council AI sends your question to several AI models from different providers at the same time, shows you their answers side by side, can ask a further model to act as secretary and synthesize a recommendation with its risks and next actions, and lets you save the outcome to a decision journal.
The service is currently free. If we introduce paid plans, we will show you the price and the terms that apply before you can buy anything, and nothing you use today will be charged for without your explicit agreement.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
- Give accurate details, and keep your email address current so we can reach you.
- An account is for one person. Do not share it or let anyone else use it.
- Keep your password confidential, and tell us promptly if you think someone else has used your account.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account, unless it happened through our fault.
4. AI-generated answers
Answers, positions, syntheses and recommendations in the service are generated automatically by third-party AI models. You are interacting with AI systems, not with people.
- AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date or biased, and it can be wrong while sounding certain. Several models agreeing does not make an answer correct.
- The confidence figure is the models' own self-assessment, not a calibrated probability. The consensus figure is a count of how many models took the same position, not a measure of whether that position is right.
- Nothing in the service is legal, financial, investment, tax, medical or any other professional advice. Check anything that matters with a qualified professional or a reliable source before you act on it.
The decisions you make with the service's help remain yours.
5. Your content
You keep all rights in the questions you ask and the decisions you save. As between you and us, the answers generated for you are yours to use as well, to the extent any rights exist in them. Similar questions from other people may produce similar answers.
You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to store, process and transmit your content — including sending it to the AI providers described in section 7 — only as far as needed to provide the service to you. That permission ends when your content is deleted. We do not use your content to train AI models, and we do not sell it.
You are responsible for having the right to submit what you submit. Do not enter other people's personal data unless you are allowed to, and avoid entering sensitive data such as health information.
6. Acceptable use
You must not use the service to:
- break the law, or infringe anyone's rights, including their intellectual property or privacy;
- create content that harasses, threatens, defames or deceives others, or that sexualizes minors;
- get around the usage policies of the AI providers your requests are sent to — which apply to everything you ask — or to try to extract a model's instructions or other people's data;
- probe, scan or test the security of the service, access it by automated means beyond normal use, or place an unreasonable load on it;
- copy, resell or offer access to the service to others, or reverse-engineer it except where the law expressly permits you to.
7. Third-party services
The answers in the service come from AI models run by OpenAI and Anthropic, and you can sign in with Google. A provider may refuse a request that breaks its own policies, and when a provider is unavailable the models it runs are unavailable too — one model failing never stops the others from answering. The models we offer may change over time. We will not send your content to any provider not named in our Privacy Policy.
8. Availability and changes to the service
We work to keep the service available and working well, but we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or free of errors, for example during maintenance. We may develop, change or remove features. If a change significantly limits what you can do with the service, we will tell you in advance, and you may close your account.
9. Ending your account
You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to close your account by emailing the operator's contact address. Ask us first if you want a copy of your data.
We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms, if the law requires it, or if it is necessary to protect the service or other users. We will tell you why, unless the law prevents it or telling you would compromise security. We may also stop offering the service altogether with at least 30 days' notice. When an account is closed, we erase its data as described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Our intellectual property
The service, its software, design and name belong to us or our licensors. These Terms let you use the service; they do not give you any other rights in it. If you send us feedback, we may use it to improve the service without owing you anything for it.
11. Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law — including liability for intent or gross negligence, for death or personal injury, or under product liability law. If you use the service as a consumer, you keep all your statutory rights, including the right to a service that conforms with the contract under the law of the EU member state where you live.
Subject to that, and because the service is provided free of charge, we are not liable for loss caused by slight negligence, nor for loss that results from decisions you make on the basis of AI-generated output.
If you use the service for business purposes, you will compensate us for claims brought against us by third parties because of content you submitted in breach of these Terms.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may change these Terms to reflect changes to the service or to the law. Every version carries the version date shown at the top of this page, and your account records the version you accepted. We will tell you about a material change at least 30 days before it takes effect, by email or in the service. If you do not agree to it, you can close your account before then; if you keep using the service after that date, the changed Terms apply.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the law of the country in which the operator named in section 1 is established. If you are a consumer habitually resident in the EU, you also benefit from the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence, and nothing in these Terms affects them. As a consumer you may bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live, and we may bring proceedings against you only there.
14. General
If any part of these Terms is found invalid, the rest remains in force. If we do not enforce a right straight away, we have not given it up. We may transfer this agreement to a successor that takes over the service, and will tell you if we do; you may then close your account. For questions about these Terms, email the operator's contact address.
